Student Support
Meet the Student & Academic Services Team
The Student & Academic Services Team (SAS) works to ensure that students are holistically and equitably supported as they engage in their learning at The Seattle School. Students who have questions or concerns can reach out to any SAS team member below. Start with any one of us and we will be glad to help you find what you are looking for.
Ligaya Avila, Academic Programs & Financial Services Manager, is available to chat with you about all of your financial questions including payment plans, financial aid, or general budgeting questions. Ligaya is also the Residency Coordinator for low-residency students.
Mac Martin, Academic Advisor, is available to discuss course planning and scheduling any time throughout your time at The Seattle School. She is here to make sure you are on the path that is best for you!
Becca Shirley, Manager of Student Life Programs, is available for conversations about student life, connecting to student groups or student leadership, pastoral or spiritual care and many other topics. If you have something you want to chat through that does not directly involve Academic or Financial Services, Becca is here to help.
Daniel Tidwell-Davis, Director of Student & Academic Services, works one-to-one with students around licensure, vocational discernment, accessibility, and academic accommodations.
Kelsey Wallace, Registrar, is available to meet to discuss course planning, school/life balance questions, academic policies, and many more topics.
The relationships we form with one another are what sustain us amidst our learning and vocations. In order to cultivate a context that allows students to get to know one another, build trust, and engage as their full selves, the Student & Academic Services team provides resources for students and also support student-led spaces for co-creating community and support.
