Mackenzie Martin

Mac graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2018 with a degree in business and a minor in studio art. She has since worked at Big Brothers Big Sisters, Street Youth Ministries, Caffe Vita, and Chihuly Garden and Glass. She joined The Seattle School as an academic advisor in 2024 and is excited to help students on their journeys here.

Outside of her work at The Seattle School, Mac is a passionate artist. She runs a small art business, creating landscape paintings and custom murals. While being a Seattle transplant, she has fallen in love with the PNW and intends to stay for the long term, painting the breathtaking landscapes that surround her for many years to come. She also loves to be outside as much as possible, camping, hiking, and rock climbing. When she’s home you can find her reading fantasy and sci-fi novels with (and sometimes to) her dog, Barclay, or hosting game nights with her partner. She feels most grounded by art, nature, and community and seeks to center those three pillars in every aspect of her day-to-day life.
