Office of the President
The Office of the President was established in 2023 by president J. Derek McNeil to serve The Seattle School community within the school and its centers as well as beyond to our alumni, supporters, and the general public. The office is composed of several roles to help accomplish its purpose: the President, Executive Assistant, Vice President of Alumni & Community Relations, Director of Partnerships, Director of Development, and Public Relations & Communications Manager.
With a ## for continued growth, the Office of the President exists to stimulate and nurture connections among us, facilitating collaboration and exchanges between students, alumni, participants, staff, faculty, donors, and friends. We do this by:
- Communicating clear and compelling vision aligned with our mission
- Supporting transformation in our creativity, initiatives and projects
- Aligning initiatives between the school and our centers
- Creating pathways for collaboration
- Nurturing the sustainability of our network of supporters
- Cultivating relationships with donors and managing fundraising efforts
- Actively seeking partnership development with those who share our values
