Richard Sclafani, MA
Rich has been pastoring locally for over twenty-five years. A Seattle native, he graduated from Roosevelt High School, got his BA in Speech Communications from the University of Washington, and in 2005 earned his Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School. He has a passion for blending his pastoral & therapeutic training towards developing leaders and building faith and community-based partnerships.
Currently, Rich is one of the co-lead pastors at OneLife Community Church in North East Seattle where he helped pioneer a number of unique community ministries including The Mix Youth Cooperative that partners with multiple churches from different denominations in the area to serve local junior and senior high students, a tutoring program serving K-5th grade students from immigrant families in the Seattle Public Schools, as well as a Dinner Church that meets weekly in Magnuson Park serving the low-income community. Rich has also created two successful businesses from scratch including a private counseling practice, and an award-winning business providing professional wedding officiant/pre-martial services.
In his free time, Rich enjoys time with his family, watching his kids play soccer, going to a Sounders or Reign FC game, cooking Italian food, grilling, playing music, going on walks with his dog, and drinking coffee from his favorite local coffee shop.
