Pat Loughery, DMin
Pat Loughery received his Doctorate of Ministry from Bakke Graduate University in 2011 with an emphasis in transformational leadership and spiritual formation. His doctoral studies introduced him to Celtic and Orthodox spirituality, pilgrimage, and the beauty and variety of the global Christian church. His dissertation dealt with spiritual formation and social media.
Dr. Loughery received a BS in Computer Science from Gonzaga University, with an emphasis in music as a jazz saxophonist. His recent academic work has focused on spirituality of place, pilgrimage, spirituality and justice, and theology and the arts. He is the Northwest U.S. Regional Guardian of the Community of Aidan and Hilda and a photographer specializing in live music and documentary journalism.
Pat lives in North Bend, WA with his wife Shannon, daughter Kaileigh, son Brogan, yellow Labrador retriever Hopeāplus a variety of motorcycles, bicycles, cameras, fishing poles, and a disorganized and ever-expanding library of books.
