MAY 1, 2025: Final Deadline to apply for our graduate programs!

Genna Dalence, MA

My name is Genna Dalence and I am a 2023 graduate of The Seattle School MACP program. I currently work as an Allender Center Admissions Representative, primarily overseeing and managing the admissions process for the Narrative Focused Trauma Care Level I program. Alongside this, I work as an Associate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHCA) at Puget Sound Psychotherapy and Psychiatry group in Seattle. I am in the process of accumulating hours for full licensure in Washington State as well as pursuing post graduate training in trauma focused modalities.

I am originally from Florida and moved out to Seattle for graduate school in 2021. I have a background working in various settings and roles within the mental health care system, including mental health advocacy as well as practicing psychotherapy in both hospital settings and private practice settings. I have been guided by my value to improve quality and accessibility in our mental health care system. I enjoy sharing about my passion for this work, as well as the professional, personal and spiritual formation involved in my training. I enjoy connecting people and organizations in order to make greater impact in the healing and flourishing of our communities.

For fun, I love to bike around the city, practice dance and perform in occasional shows, play in the water in the summer, as well as attend the array of local events in Seattle. I also enjoy resting in the sun, reading, and practicing contemplative prayer influenced by Ignatian Spirituality.
