Chris Curia
Chris Curia is a psychotherapist based in Seattle and an alumni of the theology and psychology programs at The Seattle School. Originally from the Midwest, Chris moved to Seattle in 2020 as a Master of Divinity candidate before transferring to the Counseling Psychology and Theology & Culture degree programs. With the latter, Chris specialized in Community Development, focusing capstone research on reimagining a more equitable mental healthcare landscape through innovative community partnerships between public and private sector care providers.
In addition to instructional and psychotherapeutic work, Chris is a Commissioner on the Seattle LGBTQ Commission, an advisory board comprised of community leaders to recommend policies and legislation affecting Seattleās LGBTQ population and collaborate on long-range projects with public officials and city departments that serve underrepresented communities across the city. Chris currently resides in the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood.
