Thanksgiving Vespers: A Taste of Home

Every year at The Seattle School, our community gathers around a table to share a meal, exploring together what it means to be a people marked and formed by gratitude.

Student Leadership invites you to our annual Thanksgiving Vespers, where we will share with each other pieces of what home means to us. This year, we want to invite you to bring a dish that reminds you of home. Whether it was your grandmother’s recipe or something you have found that brings you your own sense of comfort and familiarity, we would love to have you share in our family style potluck. Student Leadership will provide cider, soup, and pie. We will also have a space to share with the group what home means to you (this can be a short story, poem, piece of art, etc.); if you desire to share in this manner, please email sacredspace@theseattleschool.edu to sign up. This is always such a special evening, and we hope to see you there!

There is no need to RSVP.
