(S)ending Vocational Networking Workshop

In this (S)ending Workshop, MDiv Alumna Ronna Detrick will offer practical approaches to vocational networking for those who are job-seeking, exploring new vocational pathways, or looking to expand their opportunities for ongoing career development. Grounded in her work in public, private, and nonprofit sectors, where she has coached and guided those seeking to expand their own vocational opportunities, Ronna offers a balance of strategy and inspirational encouragement as you learn to navigate job searches, social networking platforms like LinkedIn, and informational interviews. Come ready with questions that you’d like to explore in your own job search. Spouses and partners may also benefit from this resource and are welcome.

About (S)ending

(S)ending is a season of gatherings, workshops, and rituals designed to support graduating students through the transition of becoming alumni. Students are invited to reflect upon the many gifts, skills, and abilities that they already possess; remember the stories, significant moments, and community that have brought them to this place; and begin to identify what is needed for the journey ahead. Alumni from a variety of vocational contexts return to facilitate workshops offering practical tips, portfolio and network-building skills, as well as offer space to listen for what is seeking to emerge through this particular journey of transition.
