Allyson Arendsee
Allyson Arendsee is in her second year of pursuing an MA in Theology & Culture at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, with an emphasis in visual art and theology. She received her BA in Studio Art from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, as well as a post-baccalaureate certificate from the New York Center for Arts and Media Studies. After her experience interning for International Arts Movement in New York City, Allyson chose to continue her education to seek to understand the role of the visual artist for contemporary Christian theological studies. Allyson works in many different mediums, but feels most drawn to the combination of beeswax, acrylic, and graphite in collage; her work is available at www.allysonarendsee.com. Her other passions include aesthetically pleasing coffee shops, singing and playing music, and port wine.
