Shauna Gauthier, MA
Shauna Gauthier, MA worked for The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology as the Alumni Outreach Supervisor (2015-2019) and began as Adjunct Faculty in 2021. She has previously taught Human Growth & Development, Family Systems and has been a Listening Lab and practicum facilitator.
Shauna’s earliest professional years were spent in the nonprofit sector where she led programs that ranged from community development to supporting small business initiatives both domestically and internationally. As a graduate from The Seattle School, Shauna holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology (2010) and a B.S. in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver (2005). She has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is passionate about continued development in the assessment and treatment of trauma globally. She has worked as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private and group practice settings in the state of Washington since 2019 and worked as a private practice psychotherapist in CO from 2010-2015.
In her personal life, Shauna loves spending time with her family and friends, enjoying great food, seeking beauty indoors and outdoors, and hitting up the live music scene and performing arts regularly as she is compelled again and again by the experience of collective effervescence.
