
Brent Stucker, PhD
Brent Stucker has come to embrace a career in engineering as a way to help carry out Genesis 1:28 where “…God blessed them and said, ‘Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it.’ (NLT)” He currently lives out this calling as Chief Engineer for North America and Software Product Manager at Nikon SLM Solutions and Chief Technology Strategist at Wohlers Associates, powered by ASTM International. In these roles Dr. Stucker leverages 30+ years of expertise in Engineering, Additive Manufacturing, Academia, Entrepreneurship and Executive Leadership to develop and execute strategies that advance 3D Printing technologies, protect intellectual property, manage partnerships, navigate mergers & acquisitions and help companies succeed in the marketplace; with the long-term goal of increasing human flourishing. He previously served in leadership positions at 3D Systems, Ansys, and 3DSIM (a company he co-founded and led as CEO). Prior to founding 3DSIM, Dr. Stucker was a Professor at various Universities for 18 years, where he helped mentor a generation of engineers and led R&D projects focused on Additive Manufacturing.
Over the past 10 years, Brent and his wife Gail have become familiar with and partnered with the Allender Center as a means of joining in Jesus’ calling to heal the brokenhearted and free those who are oppressed. This has involved completing all levels of Narrative Focused Trauma Care training as well as participating in and helping organize marriage events for the Allender Center. Brent and Gail served as Advisors to the Allender Center prior to Brent becoming a Trustee for the Seattle School of Theology & Psychology.
