(S)ending 2024

Each year, The Seattle School gathers the graduating class for a retreat as part of our (S)ending programming designed to support vocational journeys beyond graduation. This event is an intentional moment to pause, remember our shared work, and imagine future pathways together. During this time, you will have the opportunity to interact with each other and alumni from your degree programs. Also, you’ll have space to process and connect as you anticipate the coming endings and new beginnings. This will be followed by a happy hour from 5:00-6:00 pm for those attending on-campus.

Everyone is invited to participate on campus, however, remote participation will be available for those unable to travel and be with us. Please RSVP and indicate whether you will be participating remotely or on campus at 2501 Elliott Avenue in Seattle.

Note: If at all possible, we strongly encourage you to clear either Friday or Sunday on your calendar and consider it a Sabbath connected to the (S)ending retreat. We ask that you take this additional day to rest and play–perhaps enjoying nature, making art, or sharing dinner with friends. More on this in the days ahead. . .We’re also aware that for some of you managing work and families, you may have difficulty attending this day-long event. All of our sessions will be recorded, and recordings and handouts will be available for those unable to attend due to unavoidable conflicts or emergencies.
