Danielle Zurinsky, PhD

Dr. Danielle Zurinsky joined The Allender Center in 2022 and currently serves as Research & Evaluation Manager, where she designs, implements, and oversees both qualitative and quantitative research studies on theologically-informed trauma care approaches as Principal Investigator. With a strong commitment to data-driven decision-making, she brings expertise in program evaluation and assessment strategies that strengthen organizational learning and impact.

Danielle earned her PhD in Psychology from the University of Liverpool and a Master of Science in Health Psychology from the University of Surrey. Her academic and professional background includes extensive mixed-methods research, particularly in the areas of obesity and addictive behaviors. Prior to joining The Allender Center, she worked as a Research Associate and a Journal Specialist, gaining valuable experience in patient-centered research and scholarly publishing.

In addition to her research leadership, Danielle has taught courses in research methods and is deeply committed to equipping others with the tools to engage in thoughtful, evidence-based practice. She is also a frequent contributor to conversations on resilience and human flourishing, including podcast appearances and collaborative projects that bridge psychology, spirituality, and lived experience.
