Kwang Chi, MBA

Kwang Chi joined The Seattle School in 2023 in the role of IT Manager. Leading the IT team, he is responsible for IT systems and technical support. Kwang appreciates The Seattle School’s values including the emphasis on community and the support for community members.

Happy to help people find a good system, Kwang loves to learn new technologies. As part of a professional team in IT, he enjoys planning, configuring, providing support, and troubleshooting.

Kwang’s career in technology began during his mandatory military service for South Korea. He later received a certificate in programming from IBM Korea. In 2000, he moved to the United States and attended Highline Community College and then Eastern Washington University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Technology with a minor in business. He also received a Master of Business Administration with Project Management from City University of Seattle.

Traveling to Europe is on top of Kwang’s bucket list. Visiting NYC reminds him of Seoul, South Korea, his hometown. Kwang loves road trips and watching movies and dramas.
