The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) will conduct a site visit on the campus of The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology, April 16-18, 2018. The purpose of this visit is to perform a comprehensive evaluation of The Seattle School as part of its application as a Candidate for Accreditation in NWCCU, the regional accreditation body. Candidacy in NWCCU denotes recognition by the Commission that the institution meets its Eligibility Requirements and is progressing toward Accreditation status. It does not, however, imply or ensure eventual NWCCU Accreditation.
The Commission approved The Seattle School as an Applicant for Candidacy in summer 2015. As part of the current evaluation for Candidacy, NWCCU requests comments regarding The Seattle School’s qualifications for accreditation. This notice is an invitation to send comments with regard to the School’s qualifications for candidacy directly to NWCCU. All signed, written comments will be forwarded, as received, to the institution, the evaluation committee, and NWCCU. Comments must be received by NWCCU by March 16, 2018. They should be sent to:
