Petra Malekzadeh
Petra relocated to Seattle from Germany 19 years ago. She started her professional life with a career in the corporate world and later worked as a self-employed artist and small business owner while raising her two daughters. Prior to joining the Allender Center, Petra spent five years as an adult ministries leader at a local church where she developed a story group curriculum and facilitated story groups.
As part of her journey with the Allender Center, Petra has served as a facilitator across all three program levels, as well as a facilitator advisor and lead advisor. In her current role as Facilitation Development Manager, Petra supports and leads the Allender Center’s large and diverse team of facilitators and advisors.
Petra has long been drawn to the transformative power of small groups in inviting people to become what they are most meant to be. She loves to utilize the NFTC group experience to spark curiosity, invite authenticity, and kindle desires that lead to a more resilient hope.
In addition to her work with the Allender Center, Petra offers 1:1 or group coaching to those who have completed the NFTC training programs and are ready to start offering story groups in their own community.
