Krista Law, MA

Krista Law, MA, is a two-time graduate from The Seattle School, bringing her experience as a psychotherapist, a teacher, and an administrator to her position as the Enrollment Manager.

She received her Bachelor’s in Communications from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a Masters of Counseling Psychology and a Masters of Christian Studies from The Seattle School.

After her initial clinical work in a residential treatment center for drug and alcohol abuse, Krista went on to build a private practice and became a Washington State Approved Supervisor supporting newly graduated clinicians working towards licensure.

During this time, she was an Assistant Instructor and later an Adjunct professor at The Seattle School. Krista also served on the leadership and teaching team at her local church.

Before transitioning out of clinical work, Krista blended her psychotherapeutic and teaching experience to become an administrator for several projects. She managed the counseling internship program at The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center, co-founded a group practice and became its Clinical Director, and finally, partnered with a former Seattle School professor and other alumni to co-create a post-graduate certificate program in relationally focused therapy.

Returning to the school as the Enrollment Manager, Krista sees this as an opportunity to return to where it all began. Fifteen years ago, she was looking for healing, learning, growth, and ultimately transformation. She found that in the Seattle School community. And in receiving that gift, she was able to share it exponentially. Krista hopes to invite others to the rich experience the Seattle School provides and offer support along the way to joining this community.
