Missiologist & Surfer
MATC Global & Social Partnership Track, 2013
Ryan Kuja had worked in missions for years, but wanted to learn how to more effectively integrate theology, psychology, and mission. His training at The Seattle School gave him a new understanding of his work, emphasizing the value of relationship in kingdom work.
Ryan Kuja is a writer, surfer, and waterman who has spent time working on humanitarian aid and community development projects in South Africa and Mozambique (good waves), South Sudan and Kenya (not so good waves), India, and other places around the globe. Ryan’s work explores the intersection of global justice work, theology, and psychology.
