Brave Bauman Scholarship

The Brave Bauman Scholarship is a $750 scholarship awarded to first year MACP students to assist in covering the cost of the 40 hour personal counseling requirement. This scholarship is evaluated and awarded based on the applicant’s ability to articulate how tragedy has shaped their sense of identity, calling and relationship to God.

Alumni Scholarship for Leadership Excellence

The Alumni Association Scholarship for Leadership Excellence is a $3,000 scholarship awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership experience in a church or community context. This scholarship is evaluated and awarded based on the applicant's embodiment of relational maturity, integrity and innovative vision through leadership in a church, parachurch and/or community environment. Applicants should be enrolled full-time as first-year degree seeking students.

Multicultural Scholarship

The Multicultural Scholarship is a $3,000 scholarship awarded to first-year and returning students who come from an underrepresented racial or ethnic background. This scholarship is evaluated and awarded based on the applicant’s ability to articulate the impact their racial, cultural and/or ethnic identity has had on their desire to pursue graduate studies in their field of interest. Applicants should be enrolled full-time as first-year or returning degree seeking students.

Master of Divinity Scholarship

The Master of Divinity Scholarship is a $3,000 scholarship awarded to first-year students who are pursing a vocational within the church. This scholarship is evaluated and awarded based on the applicant’s resonance with the MDiv program's commitment to academic excellence and relational integrity as it relates to their vocational call to be a healing presence within the global community. Applicants should be enrolled full-time as first-year MDiv students.

Family Fee Waiver

The Family Fee Waiver was designed to assist students who are single parents and/or spouses enrolled concurrently. The Family Fee Waiver covers student fees (e.g. student services fee, library fee, practicum fee and internship fee), totaling approximately $1680-3360 (depending upon degree program). This scholarships is evaluated and awarded based on the applicant’s commitment to both vocation and family and their ability to articulate the need for and benefit of this waiver. Applicants should be enrolled full-time as first-year or returning degree seeking students. Spouses/partners may complete and submit a joint application.

Apply the Family Fee Waiver

Benevolence Fund

The Benevolence Fund has been formed to assist incoming students during their transition to The Seattle School. Applicants should be enrolled full-time as degree seeking students. Funding varies from $250 to $2000 and is granted by the Benevolence Committee based on a student’s financial need.

To request benevolence funding, please write a letter to the Benevolence Committee stating your current financial hardship and how financial assistant would benefit you during your transition to The Seattle School. Additionally, please provide a brief statement of what motivates your desire to study at The Seattle School.
