MDiv Internship and Field Experience
Third year Master of Divinity students are required to complete a mentored internship within an existing church or ministry. The experience is combined with a class and practicum so that students have the space to debrief their internship experiences together as well as help each other discern their gifts and vocational calling.
Past internship experiences have included vital church roles such as preaching, community care, neighborhood advocacy, and global missions.
MDiv Integrative Project
Students in their final year work on an Integrative Project – a requirement for MDiv students and an available elective for macs students. This is an opportunity to draw together all the coursework and fieldwork in order to dream about future ministry. It is intended to be more application-oriented than an academic thesis, though students can use the project to research biblical or theological questions of interest. The Integrative Project is an opportunity to dream and propose new ways of being the church and impacting the world.
